Over the First Hurdle!

We have now raised a total of $13,500 and are only $4,200 away from being able to purchase our new elite high jump pit!
We are blown away by the generosity of our donors! Just over the weekend, we cleared the bar for our first major fundraising goal, surpassing the $9,800 needed to fully fund our brand new set of 21st century hurdles. We are so excited for these to line the track when we move into our new, cutting edge facility this summer.
Thanks to you all, we are also already well on our way towards funding our much-needed new high jump pit. Right now, we only need $6,000 to hit our mark!
We currently do not have a high jump cover due to years of wear-and-tear, and so our old gear has steadily deteriorated to a level unusable for elite competition. Our new state-of-the-art high jump system will not only be weather-protected, but will exceed both NFHS & NCAA requirements. This will allow us to host meets at all levels, bringing new life to Oak Ridge’s historic track and field community.
If you have already donated, then you are playing a huge part in ensuring that our athletes are safe and afforded an opportunity to compete on home turf amidst the cheers of our community.
